Move-Out Inspection Checklist for Tenants
Before returning the keys, create a clear record of the property's condition. A move-out report can help show how the rental looked when you left.
Before returning keys
- Remove personal belongings.
- Clean the property as required by your lease or agreement.
- Take photos after cleaning and before handing over possession.
- Capture every room, not only problem areas.
- Save a copy of your report before leaving.
